Best Pocket Digital Cameras for the Shaky HandsNovember 3, 2009 7 Comments
Admit it. We all loved to be photographed. More often than not, we rely on point and shoot digital cameras alongside our hand-to-eye coordination. But not all of us are capable of capturing the best photo. I, for one, am anxious to take the shot. Not that I am selfish, but because of my shaky hands.
Good thing, Rachel King of zdnet.com has offered three of the best pocket digital cameras that solves my little problem and the rest of you – shaky hands – out there.
1. Fujifilm FinePix F70EXR: This 10-megapixel camera is built with a Super CCD EXR optical sensor, which is geared to cancel out any slight wobbles when shooting with maximum zoom and/or in dim light. The sensor was modeled after the human eye, so that the sensor can react to behavior and motion quicker and more naturally. (Lowest price: $233.99)
2. Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS25: Reviewers have found that its the anti-shake feature that separates the DMC-FS25 from its competition. Steady in the photographer’s hand in both low-light and when using telephoto zoom range, the 12-megapixel camera routinely produces high-quality photos, rarely displaying much noise. (Lowest price: $195.95)
3. Casio Exilim EX-S12: The ultracompact, 15mm-wide camera comes with a built-in CCD shift anti-shake mechanism. It also typically performs well in dimly-lit situations and has a tested and sharp Autofocus feature. The major complaint about this model, however, is photos have turned out to be a bit grainy at ISO 800 and higher. (Lowest price: $249.99)
With this 3 models, I bet, a lot others can brush aside that shaky confidence [with their hands] and start clicking right away with these three of the best pocket digital cameras around.
