So, you may have already learned a lot of ways to save on your printing costs like using compatible laser toner cartridges and ink cartridges or changing your printer settings, but have you already thought of ways to actually save on your time too when printing?
Yes, saving time has also been one of the concerns of many busy workers or students who just can seem to waste even a minute for that document to get printed. Well, if you find yourself in this situation wherein you want to save on your inks or toners so you frequently switch printer settings, but you also wish to stop doing that constant change, you might just want to apply the trick of having two printer settings saved on your system. How will you do that? Here are the steps.
1. This trick will make you install your printer twice so that you will have two existing printer settings every time you are going to print your files. So proceed to the Printers folder on your computer then click on the “Add Printer” icon.
2. Install the same printer twice then give each the right name so that you would not be confused when you are printing your files.
3. For each printer that you have installed, apply different printer settings like one for draft printing and the other for high quality printing. In this way, you can easily choose the setting that you want when you are going to create that printout.
If you are worried that this may not apply on your printer, you do not have to since the settings may vary but still you can try this tip as long as you have understood how your printing machine works.
