UN chooses Konica Minolta for Climate Change Conference 2009October 15, 2009 No Comments
The United Nations has chosen Konica Minolta as the document and imaging partner for the 2009 Climate Conference COP15 on December 7 – 18, 2009 in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Konica Minolta will be providing multifunction printers and monochrome production printing systems to take care of the printing, copying, scanning and faxing needs of all of the participants of the said event.
A big factor in its selection is the company’s programmes in minimizing global impact of its products – initiatives that are greatly in tune with the ideals of the conference.
Aside from having an ISO certified environmental management system, Konica Minolta multifunction printers has lower power consumption compared to to other devices . One model is even 60% below the latest Energy Star requirements. Two of Konica’s devices was awarded the Energy Conservation Grand Prize by Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry for being highly efficient and environmentally sound last year.
