Noisy Printer, Keep Quiet!

December 3, 2010 No Comments

quietPrinters, whether you like or not, would always have their good and bad sides. For the good part, you can get a great copy of your important files and memorable images in an instant, but you can also encounter printer errors which can be considered as the downside of almost all printers.

Still there will be that particular printer error that can irritate you like the noises that it creates whenever it starts working. I guess you really find that one annoying. But before you actually blame the printer or the laser toner cartridges or ink cartridges in it, it would be better to figure out first what is the cause of that weird sound.

A good factor to look at is how old your printer is. Most of the time, the older models would start to show signs that you will need to replace these soon especially when those pestering sounds become louder than ever. So if you have been using your printer for a long time already, start thinking if you deserve a new unit.

Now, if you have just purchased your printer and there is still a little sound coming out of it, you may want to check on the silent mode. The new printers would normally have a silent mode option with it that makes it work as quiet as possible.

However, if you still do not have a printer and you do not want to face this noisy machine issue, you could consider a laser printer since it uses electricity to push the toner and land it on the paper. This makes it better than the inkjet printer which is equipped with a printer arm that moves back and forth just to create prints.

Also, be sure to supply your printer with the right laser toner cartridges or ink cartridges since installing incorrect printer cartridges in your machine can even cause more damages to it and to your prints too. You must also regularly do maintenance to keep in good shape and make it last for years without giving out those terribly bad sounds.
