laser and inkjet printersWith the various types of printing done by workspaces or even households, it can be confusing at times if you should go for a laser printer or an inkjet printer.

Aside from that, you also have to think about those laser toner cartridges or ink cartridges that will always drain your budget when these are totally consumed.

So how do you know that you have chosen the right printing machine and consumables? Well, there are a lot of factors that you have to consider, but here are some which you can jot down to ponder on before finally settling on that perfect printing partner.

1. The Price

Well, the price of the printer and its cartridges would always be the main reason why you would either go for it or change your mind. Why not? We all know that printer cartridges are very expensive, unless you go for the third party types which are compatible laser toners or remanufactured ink cartridges. At present, these consumables are the best choice for savings while still having great prints at the same time. On the other hand, the printer’s cost must also be considered since most of the time, inkjet printers are cheaper than laser printers but the cost per page can be twice the amount of what you paid for,

2. Speed

If you are in that busy place wherein you cannot afford to waste time, make sure that you go for the printer with fast printer speed. You can usually find this detail on the printer’s box.

3. Life Span

While both printers can last longer than expected if maintained properly, it has been proven that laser printers can exceed the life span of inkjet printers.

Now that you already have the basic things to think about when deciding for the right printer, go ahead and make that list before going to the shop and purchasing your printing partner.
